Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Software Products and Services Pricing Information
We have developed a simple pricing structure for our products. However, as with any product based on computer technology, there are many variables that affect the final price you pay. The following is a list of pricing components for our software so you can estimate the costs. If you have additional questions or would like a quote, please feel free to call or email us.
PLog Enterprise - Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental data management software

PLog Enterprise is a powerful data management system which allows you to quickly and easily access all of your geotechnical data archived in its KnowledgeBase™. If you wish to harness the power of this data management system and enable transfer of geotechnical field data collected using PLog, PDensity or PConcrete while personnel are in the field, you should purchase a PDA Enterprise Client Access License (CAL) as well as PLog Enterprise. Pricing details for our PDA CALs are listed below. Please note that to enable the wireless data transfer from the field to the office, you must purchase a PLog Enterprise Server license with Enterprise Edition PDA CALs. You do not, however, have to purchase Enterprise PDA licenses to use PLog Enterprise.

As a note, many of our clients are existing gINT clients who have developed a customized gINT data template. The data template often works well for the company when data is being entered manually. However, when you perform a digital data transfer there can be problems if your data is not normalized. After we receive your gINT files, we see potential for data transfer problems we will make recommendations for changes in your data template and tell you why we recommend the changes. We also will provide a quote for the cost to update your gINT files. The changes we recommend typically take 0.5 to 1.5 hours and are billed at our standard gINT customization rates as shown below.

++We offer the above hardware as a convenience to our clients. We can give refunds or accept returns on hardware we sell if the products are unopened in the original packaging. If you experience a problem with any of the hardware you purchase from us, please contact the original equipment manufacturer.

Customization Services
Whether you want to customize PLog or need us to change some items in your gINT files, we can help. Fees vary by the level of programming expertise necessary to complete your tasks.
Fees for a senior programmer start at $175 per hour. A senior programmer is typically used for customization of our software and/or writing gINT rules.
Fees for a programming technician start at $100 per hour. A programming technician is typically used when performing work on your gINT data template and library.
‘Typical’ Sale Items - PLog Standard Edition
Each client who orders any of our software has different needs. There are, however, a finite number of combinations for software orders. With that said, a ‘typical’ order for PLog (standard edition) includes:

‘Typical’ Sale Items - PLog Tablet/Laptop Edition
The PLog Tablet/Laptop edition is just like the standard edition of PLog except it runs on a Tablet or Laptop computer instead of a PDA. Therefore there is no PDA or ruggedized PDA case to purchase. A ‘typical’ order for PLog (Tablet/Laptop edition) includes:
- Tablet/Laptop edition PLog license
- Annual Platinum Support and Maintenance
- Correspondence fee
- 1 hour of work by a programming technician on gINT files

Please note that for any Enterprise Edition Software you must purchase a PDA license per PDA you require to be in use at a given time and one Server license. Platinum support is mandatory for the first year of each license purchase.
