Dataforensics gINT Security Tool – Secures and Simplifies Data Entry in gINT

The Dataforensics gINT Security Tool provides control over adding, editing and deleting data in gINT. It allows the database administrator to define a customized gINT user interface based on the requirements for various groups of users (roles) and/or based on project types by hiding application groups, applications, table groups, tables, fields and even making fields read only. Additionally, it facilitates the approval/review process by enabling specific data to be set as read only to prevent changes once it has been reviewed and approved.

Role Management

The Dataforensics gINT Security Tool allows the administrator to provide access privileges to various gINT functionality via groups of users by defining roles.

The table shown below allows you to select which gINT Application Groups are hidden for a particular role. gINT Applications Groups are the various different options that are available to users via the tabs such as Input, Output, Report Design, Data Design, etc. This facilitates securing your gINT files such that only personnel that should be modifying critical aspects of your gINT configuration can do so.
