Dataforensics and Vertek to Collaborate on a CPT Software Initiative
Norcross, Georgia, December 1, 2008 – Dataforensics, developer of software for geotechnical data collection and analysis, and Vertek, the Applied Research Associates, Inc manufacturing division, which is known for the Hogentogler and Vertek brands of Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) equipment, are announcing a collaborative software enterprise.
The collaboration includes Vertek bundling RAPID CPT with their CPT hardware for new and existing clients. Dataforensics’ RAPID CPT software will enable clients of Vertek to enhance their CPT analysis and reporting capabilities while Vertek phases out existing software applications for its CPT equipment. RAPID CPT facilitates the import of unprocessed CPT data into gINT, a geotechnical software data management system, where CPT data can then quickly and easily be reviewed, analyzed and reported, in a uniform format. RAPID CPT employs the data management and reporting engine of gINT. The end user then has greatly enhanced data management capabilities, in addition to full control regarding CPT data analysis and reporting. Additionally, users may aggregate CPT data with any additional site investigation data, including standard boring logs, DMT soundings and laboratory test results, within one complete system.
