Data management for field density, concrete or other QA/QC related projects has never been so easy. All data is stored in a central database with permissions based access. Personnel can see information and perform tasks so they can get their job done quickly and easily. Data entry errors are minimized via the use of customizable drop down lists such as client, project engineer, technician, coordinate system and datum description. Entering the data in the web application helps provide consistent data and avoids multiple spellings of one client - a key to efficient and sound data management.
Once project information is input in the database, you are ready to create work orders or to input information for field density testing, concrete testing or field reports
Work Orders
Work orders are necessary only if your organization selects to use the PDA PQC application for field data collection. If your organization does select the PDA option, work orders are essential in order to provide consistent, accurate and up-to-date information to personnel when and where they need it.
Each time personnel HotSync their PDA, any new projects, specifications and material property data is downloaded to the PDA. Work orders provide the most recent project specifications and property requirements to personnel for each project to which they are assigned. Personnel will not have every project in the system loaded to their PDA.
